With more than 500 million end-users to protect, Promon is growing. Our team need a curious and driven Senior Mobile Security Researcher to help identifying threats to our app shielding products, and ultimately make it as difficult as possible for malicious hackers to break our defenses.

You will get a chance to leverage your background and experiences, working alongside and learn from our highly-skilled and passionate app security team, while tackling difficult challenges few companies in the world can even address.

What does a day in the role look like:

In your day to day work, you will be analyzing threats to our mobile products and the apps we protect (on iOS and Android). You will also be performing internal penetration tests of our products as well as third party apps. Based on the results of the testing, you will be working with the product teams to suggest improvements and new features.

You will be successful in this role if:

• You have a background in malware analysis and/or reverse engineering, and experience with iOS and/or Android platforms.
• You have conducted penetration tests on apps and have the ability to monitoring and analyze complex threats to mobile apps and our products.
• Ideally you will have the ability to code, preferably in C/C++
• You have a master's degree in information security, or equivalent working experience.
• You are fluent in written and spoken English (We are an international team, and our company language is English).
• You have a security-oriented mindset and knowledgeable of the threats facing modern applications.

Location:

This position is open to fully remote workers, and you can work from home. Depending on where you live, you can also work out of our office in Stuttgart, Germany (the leader of this team is in Stuttgart) or our main office is in Oslo, Norway. Some travel to Stuttgart/Oslo is to be expected.
